June 2015 meeting highlights

Hi guy's,

I was unable to attend this past Saturday's meeting. Talking to some club members it sounds like you guy's got quite a bit done. Thank you! However

there are still several details that need attention. Let's meet Friday, June 19th, around 5:30 p.m. We will get the fencing put up, safety netting, clock

base secured, final adjustments to the buoy's, etc.....

Saturday morning I would like to see everyone there no later than 6:30 a.m. This will give us just enough time to set everything else up for the race.

Talking with Josh tonight, it sounds like we have at least the minimum requirement boats registered to fill all classes with the exception of B-mono

and A-hydro. Should be a good time!

See you Friday!

Post Race June 20th

Guy's,

The 2015 MCMBC Power Stroke Classic was a HUGE success! We ended up with a lot more entries than we expected and we pulled it off like we've

been doing it everyday. I got nothing but positive feedback from everyone that attended. Not one complaint!

Once again, Josh Stollfuss did an outstanding job as Contest Director. Steve Stafiej provided a calming presence in the hot pits as Pit Boss. Gino Testani

drove the retrieve boat like a pro and I think Ernie Testani is going to be sore for a while after picking up so many boats out of the water. Dave Muscat

had the P,A, system dialed in and sounding great. Dave and Ernie also did a great job with the trophy's. Chuck Adams was all over the place helping out

and Joan Kasicki helped out at the CD table. Larry "Tank" was there before, during, and after to lend a hand.

At the end of the day, everyone stuck around to help break down and load up. This was a total club effort and everything I always envisioned this club to be.

Thank You everyone for all you did and the support you gave! I am very proud to be a member of this club and you should be too!
